The evening is then rounded off by carols played by a brass band.

Wake up on Christmas Day morning to a special gift from Gidleigh Park before toasting the occasion with a chilled glass of Champagne and an outstanding five-course lunch. Step out for a crisp winter walk and explore the frost-tipped grounds before enjoying a buffet dinner to end the day.

Unwind on Boxing Day and head out to explore Dartmoor with a local walking guide, stopping off for hot drinks and snacks halfway around. Return to a festive afternoon tea in the warmth of the lounges. Your magical Christmas Retreat concludes with a cocktail and superb à la carte dinner.
